Boston Marathon
The Athens Classic Marathon would like to express its deep sadness for the bombing
incident at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. We really hope that all runners and
spectators are fully healthy and well.
Registrations opened last night!
After the successful staging of the 2013 Athens Half Marathon… the clock starts ticking counting
the days for the next Athens Classic Marathon on November 10, 2013. Registrations opened earlier
today and we wish to invite all runners to submit their registration for the race in time, so that that
they secure their participation in the event. An even larger number of runners coming from all over
the world is expected to flood the roads of the one and only Authentic Marathon Course on
November 10, 2013.
The total participation target for all races this year is set to 30,000 runners. It is stated that
Registrations will close on October 27, 2013. However, in case the participation limits are met before
that date, registration will close automatically.
The 2012 Athens Classic Marathon Charities Program
is getting bigger, as they choose to work along with an event well recognized for its gratitude, its
acknowledgment within the society and its high organizational standards.
